ADMISSION PROCESS THROUGH CAP ROUNDS AT VESCOA (ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-25)
Candidates who have been allotted VESCOA in CAP ORUND I/II/III by SCET CELL shall follow
the following steps for submitting their application at the institute.
STEP 1: CANDIDATE COMPLETE THE SEAT ACCEPTANCE PROCESS
THROUGH YOUR LOGIN ON SCET CELL PORTAL. (CLICK HERE) Candidate have to compete the seat acceptance process through their login on SCET CELL portal by paying Rs. 1000/-.
STEP 2: FILL UP “ADMISSION APPLCIATION FORM” (CLICK HERE)
It is mandatory for candidate to fill the forms available on the Institute website “ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM” before reporting to Institute. The duly filled in application form should be submitted alongwith the FC copy to the College.
STEP 3: REPORTING TO THE INSTITUTE
Bring all the Original documents and Three Sets of xerox copy of all the documents as mentioned in the List of Documents. (Click Here for List of Documents 2024-25)
STEP 4: VERIFICATION OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS
Candidates have to bring all original documents & get the documents verified at Admission Room.
STEP 5: PAYMENT OF FEES.
After successful documents verification, the link for college fees will be generated. Candidate has to pay the Fees as per the admission category mentioned on Seat Acceptance letter. FEES can be paid through Payment Gateway on ERP Portal.
STEP 6: CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION
Admission shall be confirmed by Institute by uploading the admission on SCET Cell admission portal on receipt of Original Documents & required Fees.
STEP 7: COLLECT RECEIPT & ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF CONFIRMATION OF
ADMISSION
Candidates have to collect fees receipt & Acknowledgement of confirmation of admission generated at SCET Cell Admission portal.
NOTE: • THE CANDIDATE ALONG WITH PARENTS WILL HAVE TO REMAIN PRESENT
MANDATORY AT THE TIME OF CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION.

• ADMISSIONS ARE DONE STRICTLY BASED ON MERIT.
• Students who are allotted V.E.S. College of Architecture in State CET Cell CAP rounds OR Students applying for admission against Vacant seats are required to register personally at the college premises between 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM as per the schedule given on State CET Cell website. Candidate’s Physical presence is MANDATORY at the time of confirmation of admission.
• If a candidate is unable to produce original certificates at the time of his/her admission on account of admission already secured to some other institution, he or she shall produce a certificate/Retention certificate from the Head of the institution where he/she has already taken admission indicating that he/she has been admitted to a particular course in that institution on a particular date and hence original certificates have been retained in the institution. the candidate
shall produce the attested copies of the certificates duly attested by the head of the concerned institution. Such candidates shall be required to pay the fees immediately at the time of admission and such candidates shall be permitted to submit the required original certificates within 02 working days after the date of payment of fees.
• Fees to be paid at the time of admission will be total amount (as mentioned in the fee structure for respective Academic year).
• EBC category – Students under General category with Annual Family Income below 8 Lakh & having Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate can apply for scholarship for Economically Weaker Section.
• Students under EBC / SC / ST / OBC / SBC / VJNT will have to apply for scholarship. If a student fails to apply for his/her scholarship application or if it is rejected by the scholarship department due to any reason, then the student will have to pay balance fees to the institute.

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR AGAINST VACANCY SEAT (POST CAP)
PROCEDURE DETAILS FOR AGAINST VACANCY ROUND AT VESCOA
Candidates who wish to apply for vacant seats at the institute after SCET CAP Rounds shall follow the following steps for submitting their application at the institute.
STEP 1: APPLICANT FILL AND SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.

Interested candidate is requested to fill the forms available in the Institute website “Against Vacancy Application Form” by paying an application processing fees of Rs. 1000 + 18% GST i.e. Rs. 1180/-.
After successful payment download and Print the filled Form
The duly filled in application form should be submitted alongwith the FC copy to the College.
STEP 2: SCHEDULE FOR THE AGAINST VACANCY CAP SEATS.
Applicant has followed the Scheduled given by the Institute for Against Vacancy Round.
STEP 3: DISPLAY OF VACANCIES AGAINST CAP
Check on the Institute website for display of Vacancies Against CAP. Admission will be given as per inter-se-merit
STEP 4: DISPLAY OF MERIT LIST
Check the Final Merit List displayed on Institute website.
STEP 5: ALLOTMENT OF SEAT
Against vacancy Seat Will be allotted to candidate whose name is displayed in Against Vacancy Merit List of the Institute.
Step 6: CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION
Students who have been allotted & confirmed shall report to the college in the stipulated time along with necessary documents and fees.
Step 7: Collect Receipt & Acknowledgment of Confirmation of Admission
Students has to collect fees receipt & Acknowledgement of confirmation of admission generated at SCET Cell Admission portal.
NOTE:
• The candidate will have to remain present MANDATORY at the time of confirmation of admission.
• Seat will be allotted to next candidate in Merit List, if candidate is absent in the Institute for Admission in the stipulated time along with necessary documents.

The Candidate should be an Indian National;
(ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Phyiscs and Mathematics as compulsary subject along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational Subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks for candidates from the Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate; or
(iii) The candidate should have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks for candidate from the Reserved Categories, Economically Weaker Section and Person with Disability Category, belonging to the Maharashtra State only) in aggregate;
(iv) The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA ( i.e. JEE) or NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture;
(v) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
- Is B.Arch Degree courses offered by VESCOA recognized by University and Council of Architecture?
- • VES College of Architecture offers 5 year B.Arch Degree course recognised by Council of Architecture , affiliated to University of Mumbai, Approved by Government of Maharashtra & Directorate of Technical Education .
- What is Eligibility of B.Arch. course?
- • Candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
- • The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE (Main) Paper II.
- • Nata Entrance Exam: Qualifying in NATA is a mandatory requirement to gain admission into any Institution/University offering a B.Arch. degree program in the country.
- • The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or JEE (Main) B.Arch.

- What is the Intake Capacity of VESCOA?
- • VESCOA has an intake capacity of 80 students per batch.
- VESCOA Admission process?
- • Complete Schedule for admission process shall be published on the website shortly.
- Do VESCOA have Management Quota / Institute Seat?
- • VESCOA strictly follow the norms of NO CAPITATION FEES& NO MANAGEMENT QUATA as per VES Norms. We do not have Management Quota/ Institute level seats as all the 80 seats are surrendered (As pre VES Trust Norms) for Government admission and all admission are done through CAP round conducted by statutory Bodies.
- What is the procedure of VESCOA for Against Vacancy Seat after CAP round (if any vacancy seat arises)?
- • Incase if any Vacancy arises after CAP round same shall be published in Newspaper/ VESCOA website accordingly and all admission shall be awarded strictly on merit basis as per SCET Norms.
- Is there any reservation quota for Sindhi Minority?
- • VESCOA is Sindhi Minority Institute as per the Government of Maharashtra norms, 51% seats are reserved for Sindhi Minority quota & 49% for Maharashtra state and All India seats will be filled up through Cap Round conducted by Government of Maharashtra State CET Cell.
- • Interest Sindhi Students should select the OPTION – LINGUISTIC MINORITY (SINDHI) IN CAP ROUNDwhile filling the Application forms for admission on Government of Maharashtra, State CET Cell website to acquire admission in minority quota of VESCOA.
- Whether Allotments of seats to Architectural institutions is done through NATA OR JEE?
- • As per the Government of Maharashtra Norms admission to institutions are done by the SCET Cell. Highest marks in Either of Aptitude Test in considered for admission.
- What is the weightage to be given to marks obtained in NATA/JEE(Paper 2) and the qualifying examinations?
- • As per the SCET CELL and Council of Architecture norms, the weightage is 50% marks obtained in NATA/ JEE (Paper 2) and 50% to marks obtained in qualifying examination will be considered for admission.
- What is the Infrastructure of VESCOA?

- • We shall be working on in-work studio method where students shall complete their work and assignments in college. Students are encouraged to use late hours of College facilities with prior permission from the Principal.
- What is Fees structure of B.Arch Degree course.?
- • The fees structure of VESCOA is approved by Fees Regulating Authority for the academic year 2020-21. (Copy of Fees structure attached in Title Fees on VESCOA website with complete particulars)
- Do VESCOA provide loan facilities for the students?
- • We have tie up State Bank of India for Education loan facility for VESCOA B.Arch course.( Loan sanction will be as per the rules and norms of SBI.)

- • Only after providing relevant documents of Job status of parents and approval from Principal. Incase of any query regarding the fees instalments can personally contact the Principal.

- • As per the Government of Maharashtra Norms admission to institutions are done by the SCET Cell. Highest marks in Either of Aptitude Test in considered for admission.
- What is the weightage to be given to marks obtained in NATA/JEE(Paper 2) and the qualifying examinations?
- • As per the SCET CELL and Council of Architecture norms, the weightage is 50% marks obtained in NATA/ JEE (Paper 2) and 50% to marks obtained in qualifying examination will be considered for admission.

- • We shall be working on in-work studio method where students shall complete their work and assignments in college. Students are encouraged to use late hours of College facilities with prior permission from the Principal.

- • The fees structure of VESCOA is approved by Fees Regulating Authority for the academic year 2020-21. (Copy of Fees structure attached in Title Fees on VESCOA website with complete particulars)

- • We have tie up State Bank of India for Education loan facility for VESCOA B.Arch course.( Loan sanction will be as per the rules and norms of SBI.)

- • Only after providing relevant documents of Job status of parents and approval from Principal. Incase of any query regarding the fees instalments can personally contact the Principal.

- • We have VES Hostel located in the HAMC, Chembur, Mumbai campus (Same campus) . The accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. It is provided on first-come-first -serve basis to students of VESCOA (Limited seats available) and for students outside Mumbai.
