The library occupies a place of pride in Vivekanand education society’s college of Law. It’s an integral part of the institution. The library plays a fundamental role in parting law education to patrons the library provides safe, comfortable and congenial environment. The library is spacious and situated at fourth floor of the college building. The main goal of the library is to help in generation of knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of legal information and value added services.
The library contains more than 2400 books and documents on all subjects including Indian Penal Code, Constitution of India, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code and Indian Evidence act of prominent authors. Exhaustive collection of law dictionaries and lexicon has been maintained. Encyclopedia of central acts (27 volumes) and Maharashtra acts (7 volumes) has enriched the collection of library. The library has exhaustive collection of non academic material for reference. It also has bound volumes of various national journals like:
1. Supreme court cases (from 1988 till date)
2. All India reporters (from 1990 till date)
3. Maharashtra law journal (from 2000 till date)
The libraries housekeeping activities are computerized using e-granthalaya software.
It also subscribes to 3 English and 1 Marathi newspaper
