Organized by Mumbai Chess District Chess Association and Universal Chess Foundation.<\/p><p>15<sup>th<\/sup> June school reopened via online mode and offline regular school commenced on 20<sup>th<\/sup> June. Students were welcomed with chocolates and a welcome speech via the intercom. Later during the day, prize and certificate distribution ceremony of standard 9<sup>th<\/sup> for academic excellence was conducted in the auditorium. Students also performed Pawan muktasan , Vakrasan, Setubandhasan . Students followed all the instructions and performed all yoga aasanas. Students felt very energetic after doing yoga.<\/p><p>French day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the French students of standard 8<sup>th<\/sup> 9<sup>th<\/sup> and 10<sup>th<\/sup>. Students of standard 5th and 6th had participated in a fancy dress competition themed \u2013\u2018 great Indian Patriots and leaders\u2019. Students had dressed up as various leaders like Rani Jhansi, Mahatma Gandhi, Narendra Modi, etc. The program was spearheaded by Mrs Leena Sachdeva under the able guidance of the supervisor and principal of the school.<\/p><p>Teachers also celebrated the independence day by tying tricolor Rakhi on each others wrist to symbolise brotherhood and fraternity.<\/p><p>15<sup>th<\/sup> August<\/p><p>Swami Vivekanand High School celebrated 75th independence day in a very enthusiastic manner. The flag was hoisted and it was followed by a program in the school auditorium where in students of High School and junior college performed various acts like monologue, drama, song, dance, etc.<\/p><p>21<sup>st<\/sup> August 2022<\/p><p>Tanvir Gurnani of standard 5<sup>th<\/sup> A won a silver medal at the district level taekwondo championship held at Chembur.<\/p><p>Mohit Gandhi of standard 10<sup>th<\/sup> B won a gold medal at the district level taekwondo championship held at Chembur.<\/p><p>8<sup>th<\/sup> September 2022<\/p><p>Elocution competition for students of standard 8th to 10th was conducted. 14<sup>th<\/sup> September<\/p><p>Hindi diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm. Hindi poetry recitation competition was conducted on this day and students from standard 5<sup>th<\/sup> to 8<sup>th<\/sup> participated in the same. Students of standard 9<sup>th<\/sup> and 10<sup>th<\/sup> gave speeches pertaining to the importance of Hindi language and also put up various dance acts highlighting the importance of our national language.<\/p><p>17<sup>th<\/sup> September 2022<\/p><p>Harsh Kubal of standard 10th A won the first prize in the world level instrumental music competition (senior category) held at AFAC school.<\/p><p>19<sup>th<\/sup> September 2022<\/p><p>Our school was the host for M ward level singing competition. Approximately 26 schools had participated in the competition which was conducted in the school auditorium<\/p><p>20<sup>th<\/sup> September 2022<\/p><p>Elocution competition of students of standard 5<sup>th<\/sup> to 7th was conducted. Students had prepared speech on any one of the three given topics. Two eminent judges , Mrs Karuna and Mrs Mahua were present on the occasion .<\/p><p>25<sup>th<\/sup> September 2022<\/p><p>Janhavi got 2<sup>nd<\/sup> prize in 5k run in women\u2019s category completed in 24 minutes which<\/p><p>was held on 25<sup>th<\/sup> September 2022 at Belapur, Decathlon 5k Marathon<\/p><p>1-3 October<\/p><p>Mohit Gandhi of standard 10th B participated in the State level taekwondo championship which was held between 1 oct to 3 oct at Nashik , divisional sports complex.
