JOURNEY OF SWAMI VIVEKANAND PRATHMIK SHALA<\/strong><\/p>

(1969-2023)<\/strong><\/p>

1969 was the year when the first primary school was born from the womb of VES and that was Swami Vivekanand Prathmik Shala. And our journey begins\u2026…<\/p>

Our school which started with Hindi medium, considering the need of the time we switched to Semi English in the year 2010-11.Today, touching new heights, we have moved towards the English medium in the year 2021-22 keeping globalisation and digitalisation in mind.       There is no elevator to success, only stairs! – At Swami Vivekanand Prathamik Shala we believe in being the stairs to success for our students.<\/p>

      Our founder, Late Shree Hashu Advaniji established SVPS in June of 1969 in Sindhi Society, Chembur in a small garden with 29 students. As we grew, in June 1974 we laid the foundation for our pre-primary school, Swami Vivekanand Purva Prathamik Shala. In June 1996 our school shifted from Chembur to Kurla in Nehru Nagar, the journey from a small garden lead to the transformation into a big and fragrant garden that molds the future of our young minds. Presently our school has nearly 700 students from Jr. K.G. to IV standard.\u00a0<\/p>

      In 2017, SVPS was graded an\u00a0 A grade by the National Programme on School Standards and Evaluation (NPSSE).<\/p>

      SVPS is a building made of four walls that holds many bright futures inside.<\/p>

      Vivekanand Education Society (VES) was set up from a scratch by Shri Hashu Advani ji in 1959. It was started in a small room to educate the most underprivileged children in our Society.<\/p>

      Today, VES comprises of 2 campuses. One at Sindhi Society, Chembur, Mumbai and the other at Collectors Colony, Chembur, Mumbai in addition to various campuses housing our Schools at Kurla, Mumbai.<\/p>

      We begin educating our children right from the beginning. We have our VES Creche, Nursery, Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary, VES Tulsi Technical Institute \u2013 VESTTI, College of Arts, Science and Commerce \u2013VESASC, College of Law \u2013 VESCOL and other professional institutes \u2013 VES Polyltechnic VESPOL, VES Institute of Technology \u2013 VESIT, VES College of Pharmacy \u2013 VESCOP, VES College of Architecture \u2013 VESCOA and VES Institute of Management Studies and Reserach \u2013 VESMISR. We have about 25000 students studying in all our institutes put together.<\/p>

      Most of our Institutes are accredited by national bodies like NAAC and NBA at the highest level.<\/p>

      Our teaching systems are developed by one of the best qualified faculty who form the backbone of our entire edifice. VES academic infrastructure is at par with the best in the world today and physical infrastructure is one of the biggest in Mumbai.
      We at VES have our own leadership academy and research center VESLARC where we empower our students with soft skills to deal with the world with the value systems that we inculcate in them inspired by our own culture. VES believes in nation building through character building.
      It has always been our goal to secure appropriate placements for our students graduating from our Colleges and Institutes. VES is fully committed to evolve in to a global center of learning and education.<\/p>
