Looking Beyond Syllabus


We have organised blood check up camps, breast care awareness camps, donation for Cancer patients, participation in marathons organised by SBI and Hindustan Times as a Breast Awareness Initiative, career guidance programmes in coordination with BOAT [Board of Apprenticeship Training WR].



Our Medical technician students of std XI participated in a Breast Cancer awareness rally conducted on 24th February 2011. The rally commenced from Ambedkar garden to Shusrut Hospital Chembur. This rally was organized by Helping Hand NGO. The rally was followed by the awareness lecture by Dr. Suresh.H.Advani

Cancer patients AID’s society (CPAIDS) came to our college and conducted seminars for creating awareness about various types of cancer to our XII standard students. The students voluntarily contributed towards providing financial assistance to cancer patients.

The following year being the Golden Jubilee of VES our students contributed Rs 50,000/- and they have made the Institution proud.

Our students could also contribute Rs. 6036/- towards a project called ‘LAKSHYA’ which helps the people to overcome disastrous situations and crisis. This project was organized by Human Faith Foundation.




Plant & Animals Welfare Society (PAWS) conducted a seminar for our students to make them aware of the Cruelty done by mankind to plants and animals.


In order to make the students aware about the importance of personality development and good grooming a lecture was organized. The two resource personnel from Anjuman Institute of Hotel Management delivered the lecture.




In today’s day and age when safety of girls has become questionable, knowledge of self defence is the need of the hour. The Inner Wheel Club of Deonar came up with a well-timed self defence course for girls which we, at Tulsi Technical Institute were very receptive to and encouraged our girls to make the best of it. We had a large number of girls participating in this one and a half month programme.   It was a much needed endeavour which will prove fruitful in the future for our girls.




A marathon run for Breast Cancer Awareness was organized on 14th December 2014 by SBI powered by Women’s Horlicks. We are proud to declare that 150 girls and teachers from our college participated with enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference to society.
