It was a mega event (National Vocational Technical Exhibition, Conference & Seminar) organized by PSSCIVE (NCERT) Ministry of HRD, Government of Indai, Directorate of Vocational Education & Training & Department of Higher & Technical Education. Govt. Of Maharashtra on 2nd & 3rd May2007 at Pune.

The event was a confluence of project exhibitions, conferences, seminars & cultural activities. As we are one of the largest MCVC college in Maharashtra running 13 courses of MCVC, we took it as a challenge & participated in all the varied events mentioned above.

Our Electronic department had come up with an interesting concept of a ‘SHOCK GUN’ which attracted the NCERT experts, who showed great interest in commercializing the ‘SHOCK GUN’ as a viable product.

In the cultural section, Folk dances was a category in which our students excelled. There were many scintillating performances from various colleges across Maharashtra. Even in the face of tough competition, we came out tops bagging two prizes- The First prize was clinched by the Bansuri Dance performed by the Computer Technique students & the third place was bagged by the combined effort of the students of Travel & Tourism, Marketing & Salesmanship, Purchasing & Store-keeping and Building Maintenance for their electrifying ‘Gondhal’ performance.

Two of our teachers Mr.V.S.Prasad & Mrs. Alice Dyson got a golden opportunity to do a Paper Presentation on Vocational Education at the VOTECS National Conference.

Our eyes opened to a better vision ad future prospects for vocational education, after being a part of this mega event.
