  • Student Achievements

    1.Mr. Mushahidi Mohd Mubasshir Mohd. Bashir Razia Begum (T.Y.B.Sc. Biotechnology) and his mentor Ms.Geetanjali Harale, (Assistant Professor in Biotechnology)of Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Arts, Science and Commerce,Chembur has participated and presented a research proposal titled “Virtual Laboratory for enzymology” in Pure Sciences category and UG level and secured FIRST Rank at the Final Round of 15th AvishkarResearch Convention: 2020-21 organised on Virtual Platform by University of Mumbai on June 23, 2021.

     
     

    2. Priya Kewalramani and Shruti Shashidharan , students of Ma Part one ,took part in an annual intercollegiate research competition called Anveshan organised by Maniben Nanavati Women’s college and secured the first position in the PG category
     
     

    3. Mr. Sagar Ramchandani, TYBSc presented his research paper at ‘Avishkar’ and secured Second Rank for his research paper at Final Round of Mumbai University level and First Rank at Final Round of Maharashtra State Inter-University level.
     
     

    4.Mr. Alok Rajesh Singh,  MSc Microbiology (By Research) student , secured the award for Best Oral Presentation on the topic ‘Development of an Effective Microbial Consortium for Greywater treatment’at the   XIII Triennial National Level Conference of IWSA  held from  2nd to 4th December 2016  at IWSA Campus ,Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The theme of the conference was “Sustainable Development in India: Role of Science and Technology”. The research paper presentation was co-authored by his guide Prof. Mrs. Santhini S Nair along with Dr.S.T.Mehetre, Scientific Officer (E) , NABTD, BARC.

    5. Alok Rajesh Singh received the ‘Best Poster Award’ in the 2 day National Symposium on ‘Frontiers in Applied Biological & Chemical Sciences’ organized by Research Centre of Microbiology Department of Smt. Chandibai Himatmal Mansukhani College, Ulhasnagar on 10th & 11th February 2017.

    The Poster was entitled ‘Development of a Laboratory Scale Process for Greywater Treatment.’ The research paper presentation was co-authored by his guide Prof. Mrs. Santhini S Nair along with Dr.S.T.Mehetre, Scientific Officer (E) , NABTD, BARC.

    7. Three students of MA Psychology part ii, Anuja Tilak, Kadambari Shahane and Shivani Chaware, won the first prize for the research paper titled “Exploring the relationship between perceived vulnerability to disease and indicators of conformity”, in the research conference named “Pandemic Turn” organized by Vaze College,Mulund. The paper was done under the guidance of Aankeet Gokkalgandhi.

     
     

    8. A paper presented by students of MA Psychology Semester II- Sara Chavan, Suyash Karangutkar and Priya Kewalramani, titled “The Opinion Divide on Israel Palestine conflict- a qualitative analysis”, under the guidance of Aankeet Gokkalgandhi, won the first prize in a national level virtual research competition organised by BMN College of Home Science, Mumbai on 11th June 2021.

     
     

    9.
