He gave Oral Presentation on topic entitled\u00a0<i>&#8220;<\/i><i>In Silico Study of Substituted Benzo[de]isoquinolin-9-ol Derivatives as Plasmodium\u00a0Falciparum Lactate Dehydrogenase Inhibitors<\/i>&#8221;\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6cf67d6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6cf67d6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"page-space\"><ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ves.ac.in\/vesasc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2021\/07\/Avishkar-Pure-Science-Category-2021.jpg\">Overall Championship at Avishkar 2020-2021 in pure science<\/a><\/li><li>Mr. Mushahidi Mohd Mubasshir Mohd. Bashir Razia Begum (T.Y.B.Sc. Biotechnology) and his mentor Ms.Geetanjali Harale, (Assistant Professor in Biotechnology) of Vivekanand Education Society\u2019s College of Arts, Science and Commerce,<br \/>Chembur has participated and presented a research proposal titled \u201cVirtual Laboratory for enzymology\u201d in Pure Sciences category and UG level and secured FIRST Rank at the Final Round of 15th Avishkar Research Convention: 2020-21 organised on Virtual Platform by University of Mumbai on June 23, 2021.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ves.ac.in\/vesasc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2021\/07\/ARIIA.jpg\">Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement (ARIIA) \u2013 VES Categorized in Band B (Rank 26-50) in the category of Private or Self Financed College\/ Institutions<\/a><\/li><li>Mr. Sagar Ramchandani, TYBSc presented his research paper at \u2018Avishkar\u2019 and secured Second Rank for his research paper at Final Round of Mumbai University level and First Rank at Final Round of Maharashtra State Inter-University level.<\/li><li>Sagar Ramchandani, TY BSc. (Physics) student of 19-20 batch, won the second prize at state level in pure science category of 14th Maharashtra State Inter-University Avishkar Research Convention 2019-20<\/li><li>Dr. Varsha Ganatra Appointed as the Editorial Board Member of Association of \u201cInternational Business &amp; Professional Management\u201d for the Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Education (APJME), Indonesia.(2019-2020)<\/li><li>Mrs. Samhitha Sharma Kain (second author) &amp; Ms. Richa Sharma from SNDTWU, Best Presenter Award for the paper, \u201cExploring the most suitable online teaching-learning methodology .(2019-2020)<\/li><li>Dr. ParinitaMadan (Chemistry) Awarded third prize for Poster presentation at the \u201cNational conference organised on recent innovations on and concerns of green chemistry towards sustainability\u201d organised by CKT College, Panvel on 17\/02\/2020 and 18\/02\/2020<\/li><li>Dr. Santosh Bhaskaran won the third prize for oral presentation at the 4th National Conference of the Indian Society of Systems for Science &amp; Engineering, Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad in September 2019.<\/li><li>Ms ShwetaPatil (Microbiology) received Best Oral Presentation for her paper at \u201cFrontiers in Applied \u00a0 Biological and Chemical Sciences on 10th and 11th Feb 2017 at CHM College Ulhasnagar.<\/li><li>Mr. Malay Shah (Microbiology) received second prize in Environmental Science\u00a0category in the Sajjan Gupta Konark Memorial Award 2017, a national level research\u00a0poster presentation competition.<\/li><li>Mr. Malay Shah from the Dept of Microbiology received the \u201cIconSWM 2016 Excellent Paper Award\u201d for the paper titled \u201cProduction of high quality compost from feather waste: A novel, cost effective and sustainable approach for feather waste management and organic soil management\u201d at the 6th International Conference on Solid Waste Management, organized by CQMS, Jadavpur University, Kolkata between 24th and 26th of November, 2016.<\/li><li>\u00a0 Sadhana Singh (Commerce) received best oral paper presentation award for \u201cA Study on Service Quality Dimensions, E-banking in Public and Private Sector banks\u201d International Seminar on Management and IT INSEMIT 2016 \u2013 Organized by IMCOST in association with MAMI.<\/li><li>Sadhana Singh (Commerce) received best paper award for \u201cE-banking: A recent trend in Commerce \u2013 An Empirical Study\u201d in National conference organized by SantGadge Maharaja College in association with University of Mumbai. 2015.<\/li><li>AarohiKhar (Psychology) received best oral paper presentation award for \u201cAspects of Child Sexual Abuse, as reported by College Students-A Case Study\u201d in International Conference at Kolkata, 2015.<\/li><li>MahalakshmiSankar (BMS) received best oral paper presentation award for \u201cCustomer loyalty towards apparel retailers\u201d in National Research symposium held at S.I.W.S College 2015<\/li><li>Dinesh Navale (Chemistry) received best oral paper presentation award for \u201cDesign and Synthesis of Novel Ferrocenomesogens and Evaluation of Structural Differences for Mesomorphic Behavior\u201d in National Conference on Advances in Synthetic and Materials Chemistry organized by Department of Chemistry, University of Mumbai. 2014.<\/li><li>Santhini S. Nair (Microbiology) received 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0best paper award for \u201cAssessment of the Environmental Impact of SNPs on soil bacteria in a Simulated Soil System\u201d in international Conference ICECANT -2014, International Conference organized by KBP College on Environment Conservation by Adopting New Technologies.<\/li><li>ParinitaMadan (Chemistry) received 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0best paper award for \u201cDevelopment of Extractive Spectrophotometric determination of Nickel(II)with Isatin-3-Thiosemicarbazone (HITSC)\u201d in National Conference on RTCC, KBP College, Vashi, 2013<\/li><li>Varsha Ahuja (Chemistry) received best paper award for \u201cSynthesis and Kinetic Study of azo substituted Schiff Base Ni(II) Complexes\u201d in National Conference on RTCC, KBP College, Vashi, 2013.<\/li><li>Santhini S. Nair (Microbiology) received 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0best paper award for \u201cPotential Threat of Swimming Pools in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai as an Emerging Reservoir of Infections\u201d in National Conference organized by KBP College, MIHOBIOS-2013.<\/li><li>Radhika Mohan (Psychology) received Travel grant from UGC for International paper presentation in the 10th Biennial Conference of Asian Association of Social Psychology, Indonesia. 2013.<\/li><li>Jayalakshmi Srinivasan (IT) received best paper award for the paper \u201cSemantic Web Applications\u201d ICRTITCS 2012- International Conference on Recent Trends in IT and CS organized by Thakur College, Kandivili. ISBN 978-81-922978-2-8, December 2012.<\/li><li>Jayalakshmi Srinivasan (IT) received best paper award for the paper \u201cMobile Utilities-Bluetooth Chat\u201d in International Techno Management Research Conference conducted by SIMSR, 2012.<\/li><li>Meghana Sanjeeva (Librarian) received highly commended from 2010 Emerald Indian LIS Research Fund Award for her Research proposal \u201cThe Evolving World of Scholarly Communication:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.emeraldinsight.com\/research\/awards\/india_lis.htm\">Impact and Implications for Academic and Research Libraries\u201d.<\/a><\/li><li>Aarohi P. (Psychology Department) paper on \u2018Empowerment of sexually abused women\u2019 at \u201cK.B. College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women\u201d at the seminar held on 22nd and 23rd Jan., 2010 where her paper was adjudged as one of the best papers<\/li><li>(Mrs.) Anita Kanwar (Physics Department) received 1st prize for Best Oral Presentation for her paper \u201cPhase transitions in the Polymer Dispersed Cholesteric Liquid Crystals\u201d at the National Conference on Physics of Semiconductor Devices and Smart Materials-NC-PSDSM in 2007 at Mumbai.<\/li><li>Prof. (Ms) Santhini S.
