The strategies adopted for the same are\n<ul>\n \t<li>Establishment of the CIF, will enhance our capability for undertaking research in diverse areas and will give us opportunity for extending consultancy\/ service to clients.<\/li>\n \t<li>Focusing on applied research.<\/li>\n \t<li>Recruitment of staff with a specialized expertise is also an avenue to build upon a valued resource of specialist in the institution.<\/li>\n \t<li>Formal tie up in the form of MOUs.<\/li>\n \t<li>Alumni involvement in conduct of activities.<\/li>\n \t<li>Sending students for internships, inviting experts from industry, industrial visits are some of the other strategies adopted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe consultancy service has not generated any revenue so far. However our faculties were involved in consultancy for different academic institution.\n\n<ul>\n \t<li>Dr.DevidasGulwade having expertise in\u00a0<strong>XRD\/Rietveld<\/strong>\u00a0analysis has extended consultancy services to\u00a0<strong>Glenmark Generics Ltd<\/strong>. in June 2010. Further, he is consulted by Glenmark at different points in time regarding various aspects of XRD analysis in their work.<\/li>\n \t<li>Dr. Santosh Bhaskaran has developed a space biology research instrument viz.\u00a0<strong>Clinostat<\/strong>\u00a0for School of life science, SRTMU Nanded University free of cost.<\/li>\n \t<li>Professor ShwetaPatil carried out \u201cStudy of Water Quality Parameters of Tera Village lake\u201d, Kutch, Gujarat for a faculty from Dept of EVS, K.J.
