1.Is VESIM’s MMS Course is approved by University?
The MMS course is affiliated to University of Mumbai, Grade ‘A’ awarded by DTE and Recognized by DTE Govt. of Maharashtra, Approved by AICTE.

 

2.Total number of seats for MMS at VESIM
A total of 180 students are admitted every year to the institute as per the guidelines prescribed by the University Of Mumbai for the Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP).

3.When do I apply?
Generally an advertisement inviting applications for the MMS full-time program is put up in the leading newspapers a month or two before the exam. For regular update to CAP round students, visit DTE website i.e. www.dte.org.in. For Institute level minority students, visit our institute website, i.e., www.ves.ac.in/vesim.

 

4.How can I apply?
ApplicationForm and Prospectus shall be available online through our website or offline at VESIM from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m at the time of admission for Minority Quota /Vacant/Cancellation seats. Students and parents shall confirm the dates of admission and availability of forms before applying. Form fee Rs. 1200/- in cash.

5.What is the configuration for seats filled in 2015-16 along with the cut off?

6.How many seats are available for Minority?
VESIM is a Sindhi linguistic minority Institute (for people domiciled in Maharashtra). Hence 51 % of the seats are reserved for the Sindhi linguistic minority students.

 

7.Whether last year’s CET Score valid for 2016 admissions?
No.

 

8.What are the specializations offered?
Specializations offered are:
– Finance
– Marketing
– Human Resource Management
– Operations

 

9.What is the Admission Procedure?
The applicant must submit the prescribed application form along with necessary certificates on or before the due date.
As per the Entrance Test scores the list of Sindhi Minority selected candidates will be declared on VESIM Notice Board.

 

10.What is a Selection Procedure for MMS?
The admissions to the MMS programme are governed by the selection procedure as described in the “Information Brochure – Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra State, Mumbai – MAH-MBA/MMS” which is issued every year by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.
The students who are allotted VES Institute of Management Studies and Research are required to produce these certificates (click here for the list) in Original and 4 sets of Photocopies duly attested and two passport size photographs. The Blood Group must be mentioned in the form at the time of admission.
Note: If a candidate fails to submit the original certificates within the prescribed period of the time, the admission shall be treated as cancelled and no refund shall be granted.

 

11.Whether we can pay the fees in Installment?
No. The fees have to be paid on yearly basis only as mentioned by the Institute.

 

12.Loan facility is available? Tie-up available with the Banks?
Yes, Tie-up is done with banks namely Canara Bank, State Bank of India, HDFC Credila, Central Bank of India.

 

13.What is your Top No. out of 10 or 20 in B-School Ranking in Maharashtra?
number 7.

 

14.What are the documents required for reserved category students?
Caste Certificate, Caste Validity, Non Creamy layer for OBC, SBC & VJNT Students and Caste Certificate, Caste Validity for SC Students Non Creamy layer not required for SC category Students.

 

15.What is the course structure?
Full time courses run for 2 years and follow semester pattern (two semesters per year). The first year subjects are common across all specializations.

16.Other Linguistic and Minority admission is applicable or not? If yes, then what are the dates?
Not yet decided it is decided by DTE. For regular update visit DTE website i.e. www.dte.org.in.

 

17.What is the timing of First shift & Second shift?
For First Shift Morning 9.00am to Evening 4.30pm
For Second Shift Morning 11.00am to 6.00pm

 

18.Are there any Hostel facilities?
VESIM provides hostel facilities to both male and female Candidates.

 

19.What are the placements at VESIM?
*83 % placed in 2014-15 batch.

 

20.What is average package & highest package in VESIM?
3 lakhs is average package & 6.5 lakhs in highest package in VESIM.

 

21.How do I get admitted into VESIM pursuing my present job?
The MMS course is a full time course, so a student cannot work while pursuing the course.
