Lab Facilities

Information Technology department aims to create a high quality academic and research environment, which empowers faculty and students to attain the highest level of excellence as professionals in the field of IT. To achieve its aim, the Department has seven well equipped and spacious Computer Laboratories with more than 250 networked computers and support equipment like Servers, Printers etc.




The laboratories are installed with all the supporting software required to fulfill university curriculum including Free and Open Source Software and other proprietary software such as MSDN DreamSpark, SPSS, Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster Server 2003, Microsoft Windows Compute Cluster ED, Adobe CS3 Design Premium, IBM Rational Rose, Qualnet Software, IBM Cognos BI,Matlab, MS-Office Professional.


These labs cater to the following domains:



Big data analytics, Data mining, Web and Mobile application development, Artificial Intelligence and Soft computing, Cloud computing, Networking and Security. These labs are used for performing lab assignments for various subjects like Oracle, SQL, Database Management Systems, Advanced Database Management Systems, Data Mining and Business Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Web Programming, Software Engineering and Project Management, App Development, Networking, Linux – Open source OS, System Security, Artificial intelligence, Internet of Things- IoT Technology and many more.


IoT lab:

One of the labs is used for IoT projects with adequate number of components.


Project lab:

One of the labs is exclusively reserved for final year students with high end machines to work on their projects.
