DISHA SERIES- PARENTS OF PRE PRIMARY STUDENTS
VESLARC conducted an interactive workshop for the parents of pre-primary students at DBC school.
SWAYAM SERIES-JOYFUL STUDY
VESLARC conducted an interactive workshop called “Joyful Studies” for the 10th standard students of DBC school, Collectors’ Colony. Topics such as neuroplasticity, the freedom to decide the “labels” for the self, and how to break self-imposed negative labels like “I am like…only” were discussed. Various habits related to learning were discussed. Experiences were also shared and discussed. The “ocean of hands” raised whenever questions were asked, indicates the eagerness and enthusiasm of our students.
SPORTS DAY NURSERY & PRE PRIMARY
Sports Day was organized for Nursery and Pre Primary students. Different races and musical drills were conducted. Dr. Manish Sharma and Dr. Varsha Gattu were invited as chief guest and the Guest of honour. Parents enjoyed the game conducted for them.
Exhibition was conducted in our school premises on the 15th & 16th Dec 2017.
Chief Guest: Dr. Vikrant Shah, specialist in infectious diseases from Zen Hospital
Guest of Honour : Mr. Gerald D’Cunha, founder of the Dawn Club, centre of excellence.
Students entertained the audience with skits and dances displaying messages of unity, love, patriotism, togetherness, friendship and equality. They also prepared, exhibits with the help of staff and parents as per the theme allotted to them in the classrooms. It was a fun filled experience for everyone with lots of learning and joy.
The Gokulashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi celebraton was conducted for the children in the school.
All the children were explained the importance of these festivals and were enlightened with various stories.
The activities of breaking the matki and aarti singing was conducted for the children while they were dressed in traditional outfits.
