Each child is unique and excels in different aspects in order to explore their hidden talents we organize various cultural competitions throughout the viz drawing, recitation, elocution, debate, poster-making, rakhi-making, rangoli, mehendi, wealth from waste, solo singing, solo dance, Group dance, Group singing, Skit, Quiz, Umbrella & Face painting, etc.
Our college provides indoor game facilities throughout the year. The students play a number of indoor games like table tennis, C arrom & Chess in the college as per the time schedule. Competitions are held to bring out the best out of the lot.
For the ones, who prefer outdoor activities as compared to indoor restraints various events like shotput, running race, relay, tug-of-war,3-legged-race and the much loved cricket are organized for both girls and boys.
All the activities are conducted zealously and the children are encouraged to participate in these events and unravel their latent talents.
Month Long Training Programme For Teachers At Our Institute
Our college had an opportunity to conduct a training programme for teachers from the Banking stream organized by the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Maharashtra. About 20 faculty from the banking stream from different districts of Maharashtra attend the training program . The training sessions are taken by eminent personnel from the industry. experience as a host institution.
Vivekni is a cultural wing of Vivekanand Education Society who organize various cultural programmes. Tulsi Technical Institute actively participate in almost all the events organized by Vivekni. We bagged prizes in ‘Jagruti’ the singing competition held on the Independence Day every year.
Pratham Infotech Foundation, an NGO, in collaboration with BPCL arranges special coaching for SSC appearing students of economic backward class. They support the students with ‘Utkarsh Vocational Scholarship’.
A seminar on nutrition was organized by Inner wheel Club Of Deonar. Dr Joshi stressed the importance of the concept of “Healthy Girl”. Healthy girls give birth to healthy individuals, hence a healthy nation. He was assisted by DR. Meera Joshi and Dr. Adit Tiwari, a psychologist who took the second session on ‘Narcotics” for boys. He explained in detail bout different types of narcotics and its effect on body, mind and finance of a human being. Both classes were informative and proved beneficial for our students.
