Report of Henil Patel for ‘Tourism in Quiz’ by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India in association with Mind Wars (An initiative by Zee)

A link to a quiz was received in the online class group (8^th A) sent by the class teacher. It was a Tourism Quiz by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India in association with Mind Wars held between 27 September to 18 October 2022 as a part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ week celebration of Ministry of Tourism.Henil Patel (8^th A) participated in the quiz.

A letter was later sent to the school in January 2023 by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India which stated the following points:

• The ‘Tourism in quiz’ was very well received by students of class 6 to 12 across
• In total 42,778 students took part in the quiz from 5,176
• A total of 1000 winners were selected among them from different Among which, Henil Patel from class (8^th A) was one of the winners.
• A special prize distribution would be organized on Tuesday, 10^th January 2023

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Henil Patel and his Parents at 3 pm on Tuesday, 10^th of January 2023 at INDIATOURISM MUMBAI’s office (Ground Floor, Air India Bldg., Nariman Point, Mumbai– 400021). A total of 16 other students from all over Mumbai had also participated in the ceremony. The following certificate was awarded:

Along with the certificate, other accessories were also gifted including a T-Shirt, Hand Painted pouch, Posters of 7 different tourist sites in India and smaller pictures of them, a key-chain, informational charts about common trees, butterflies, dragonflies, snakes, birds and shore life of Maharashtra and a Notebook.

After that some information was given on what the Ministry of Tourism is; what does it do, etc. and also about our Government’s new ‘यवु ा पर्यटर्य न क्लब’ movement.
