Vivekanand Education Society started in 1962 with only 265 school students. Today it has over 18,000 students. Believes in developing the complete personality. Stress is also laid on various extracurricular activities, strict discipline and moral values.
1962 : Started with 262 students in Sindhi Society
1964 : Started Primary Section in English Medium
1968 : Started Secondary Section in English Medium
Considered as one of the most reputed institution of Mumbai, a recent survey showed that the Swami Vivekanand High School is in the top 2% in Maharashtra. The School has all the facilities of Music Library, Sports Academy, Laboratories, highly dedicated & experienced staff. . All the classrooms are fitted with interactive boards & LCD projectors.
Mrs. Radha Narayan Principal of Swami Vivekanand High school & Jr. College has joined in 1989 as Asst. Tr. who was promoted step wise to Supervisor, AHM, Co-coordinator and Now the existing Principal of the institution.
She says welcome to another academic year. Time seems to have taken wings and we have started with yet another academic year. This journey has sometimes been easy, sometimes difficult, but I firmly believe in ‘Serve People Serve God’. We, Swami Vivekanand Education Society is deeply committed to create an environ in the institution which focuses to prepare children as holistic human beings, emotionally stable, physically fit, intellectually ignited, spiritually enlightened and socially committed. To impart education that enables students to achieve better and build habits of mind that change student’s life trajectory.
Befor penning down, I would like to congratulate and thank the entire crew of Vivekanand Education Society and foremost important the parents for their unflinching and unwavering support to the institution.
