Purpose of the Alumni Association
The Alumni Association serves as a bridge between former students and the institution, fostering lifelong engagement. It facilitates:
- Meaningful interaction between alumni and current students
- Professional networking and mentorship
- Opportunities for collaboration and growth
Our Journey
Established in 2015–16, the VES College of Law Alumni Association held its first Alumni Meet on 22nd August 2015, marking the beginning of a strong and ongoing relationship with its graduates.
The meet highlighted the vision, objectives, and future contributions expected from the alumni community.
Continuing the Legacy
Today, the association continues to build a vibrant network of legal professionals who remain connected to their alma mater.

Alumni Contribution
The Alumni Association of Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Law plays a vital and proactive role in supporting the institution through diverse academic, professional, and community-oriented initiatives. Over the past five years, the alumni have contributed in the following ways:
- Academic & Professional Support
- Deliver invited talks, guest lectures, and seminars.
- Provide counselling to students for employment.
- Act as judges in Mock-Trial Competitions and Advocacy Skill Competitions.
- Act as judges in Intra-Moot Competitions and National Moot Court Competitions organised by the College.
- Implement a unique mentorship programme by assigning expert alumni to guide final-year law students in their Practical Training Programmes.
- Provide special coaching for NET, SET, and Civil Services examinations.
- Provide special coaching for Judicial Services examinations.
- Institutional Development & Governance
- Provide sponsorship and support for printing magazines, conference proceedings, and brochures.
- Actively help in the organisation and management of extensive outreach activities of the Institute.
- Serve as active members of various academic and administrative bodies of the Institute.
- Conduct surveys to collect feedback from all stakeholders and suggest improvements.
- Community Service & Social Responsibility
- Provide free legal counselling for poor and needy persons through the College’s Legal Counselling Centre.
- Provide food and groceries to people in flood-affected areas.
- Provide food and groceries to people in drought-affected areas.
- Role Modeling & Student Inspiration
- Act as judges in cultural and sports competitions.
- Serve as role models for students through distinguished services in various fields.
Vivekanand Education Society (VES) runs 26 institutions in the vicinity of Chembur. The Society’s aim is to impart quality education to all including the economically backward classes thereby playing an important role in the progress of our country, vision of Shri Hashu Advaniji, a great social worker.
