The objectives of the Research Committee:
- Promote Legal Research and Scholarship: Encourage faculty members, students, and researchers to engage in high-quality legal research in various fields of law.
- Facilitate Publication of Research: Support the publication of research in peer-reviewed journals, law reviews, and other reputable platforms to contribute to the legal academic community.
- Organize Research Activities: Conduct seminars, workshops, conferences, and webinars on contemporary legal issues, fostering an environment conducive to intellectual exchange.
- Collaboration and Networking: Promote collaboration with other academic institutions, legal professionals, and research organizations to enhance research output and opportunities for learning.
- Support Faculty Development: Provide opportunities for faculty members to enhance their research skills through training, mentoring, and access to resources.
- Encourage Student Involvement: Engage law students in research activities, guiding them to develop critical thinking, analytical, and writing skills through research projects and internships.
- Research Funding and Grants: Facilitate the identification and application for research grants and funding opportunities that support legal research initiatives.
- Uphold Ethical Research Practices: Ensure that research conducted under the college’s auspices adheres to ethical guidelines and contributes positively to the legal profession and society at large.
The Vivekanand Education Society Trust has launched the Hashu Advani Business Incubation Technology (HABIT) Foundation in 2023-2024 to support and nurture innovative ideas and start-up companies. It offers resources, mentorship and networking opportunities to help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses.

Institute has a well-equipped library with research materials like reference books, periodicals, e-resources at the disposal of the students to conduct their research work. The library also has a computer lab with internet to facilitate the students further. This motivates the students to undertake research activities to prepare for these competitions. The Institute encourages its teaching faculties to engage in research work which has resulted in the publication of research papers and chapters in edited books.

VES College of Law has an e-resource centre with computers available for students and faculties to conduct their research. The institute has access to e-database like SCC Online to facilitate the same. Through the MyLoft software, the institute has access to multiple e-resources.
