Ar. Aparna Rao

Aparna Rao is an Architect (MSU, Baroda, 1995) and Urban Planner (CEPT University, Ahmedabad, 1997) working in various capacities in the architecture and planning fields in Mumbai since 22 years. Beginning her career with teaching, she then worked in the practical field through association with various firms; she has returned to teaching as visiting faculty with some Mumbai architecture colleges. Working on a wide range of aspects from valuation and municipal proposals to architectural and interior design for project sizes ranging from small offices/ residences to large campuses/ townships has afforded a wide perspective of the field which she has chosen to channel into her special pursuit of writing. She practices today as a freelance design writer and has majorly been involved with the networking portal TFOD – The Future of Design, where she has helped showcase the works of professionals in the design fraternity and contributed 200+ articles.
