Ar. Harshad Bhatia

Harshad Bhatia is an urban designer, architect, academic, ekistics intellectual and author-editor based in Mumbai, India. He is a 1981 graduate gold medalist from the Sir J.J. College of Architecture, Mumbai University and 1984 postgraduate gold medalist from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. His professional firm since 1986, dealt with a wide range of projects. He is as a Design Chair, professor at Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Architecture (VESCOA). An innovative communicator, he has been invited to present papers at various conferences and his writing is featured in dailies, magazines and refereed journals. He is author of the book ‘Becoming Hafeez Contractor – The Making of an Architect’, published by HarperCollins India in 2019.
