Mital Patel is an architect and academician with several years of experience in the field. After completing her B. Arch. from IPSA, Rajkot, she pursued a double master’s degree, one in Urban Planning and the other in Sociology, and has completed a certificate course in value education from IGNOU. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. in Architecture and Planning, where she focuses on identifying traditional wisdom in city planning and exploring its relevance in contemporary times. To support her research, Mital presented a paper titled “Reflecting Traditional Wisdom for City Planning” at the International Conference on Rediscovering Cities 2020. Mital has gained a comprehensive understanding of design education in the region through her work as a visiting faculty in various Architectural, Interior Design, and Planning institutes. Her research interests include Basics Design, Architectural and Urban History, Urban Morphology ,Traditional Built Form, Culture, and people. She aims to connect with regional people and raise awareness about the field of architecture and planning.
