Civil Engineering program established in the year 2018-2019 with the intake of 60 seats and has the distinction of being the one of the core departments in the institute. Civil Engineering is recognized as the mother branch of Engineering and has kept pace with the growing technological world.
Civil Engineering program is determined to offer and maintain the high standards in extremely competitive and demanding world. This program, intends to foster technically sound engineers to keep abreast with recent technological trends. The department have modern, well equipped and adequate laboratories to fulfill the academic requirements as well as students need beyond the curriculum.
Students from VESP are motivated to participate in co-curricular activities, technical event and certainly contribute in conceiving planning, designing and building infrastructure – roads, water supply and irrigation, canals and dams, power houses, buildings, bridges, tunnel, airports, harbour, towns and cities, waste management and treatment, repair and maintenance of structures.
Civil engineering students are associated with Indian Society of Structural Engineering professional body which conducts program related to the trends in Civil. This can be achieved by full cooperation of all our stakeholders — students, technicians, faculty, parents and alumni.
VISION OF THE PROGRAM:
Provide sound civil engineering technocrats having sensitivity towards society and environment.
MISSION OF THE PROGRAM:
- Impart competency and right attitude to work in multidisciplinary environment.
- Develop cognitive and psychomotor skills and imbibe leadership attitude to be an entrepreneur.
- Inculcate ethical education fostering societal responsibilities

- Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Civil engineering relatedbroad-based problems adapting professional ethics.
- Adapt state-of-the-art Civil engineering broad-based technologies to work in multidisciplinary work environments.
- Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work
Program Specific Outcome (PSO)
- Construction Planning and Designing: Perform optimal civil engineering construction,planning and designing activities of desired quality at optimal cost.
- Construction Execution and Maintenance: Execute civil engineering construction and maintenance using relevant materials and equipment.
