Electronics & Telecommunication
Mrs. Deena Shah HOD
The Department of Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering started in the year 2010 with the intake of 60 seats. The department is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Accredited by National Board of Accreditation.
The Department has highly experienced, qualified, and dedicated faculty members. The department has well-equipped and well maintained Laboratories with adequate facilities to cater the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will help to equip them in their professional work involving analysis, implementation, operation, and maintenance of the various systems in the field of Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering.
During the three years of Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering program, students gain the knowledge of both the hardware and the software aspects. Hence the most important benefit the program provides students is the freedom to drift between the hardware field and software field. Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering offers courses -a combination of hardware and software like Programming in C and python, analog and digital electronics, electrical circuits and networks, analog and digital communication systems, microcontroller and embedded system, mobile & wireless communication, IOT applications, Microwave & Radar communication, Drone Technology, VLSI Applications, Fiber optics networking and Satellite communication. Also Industrial training has been embedded to make the student familiar with the industry culture and have hands-on experience. The course contents are periodically updated to introduce new scientific and technological development.
The students are highly motivated to participate in co-curricular as well extra-curricular activities for overall grooming of students. We have professional bodies such as ISTE/ISA/CSI/IIC under which we conduct various activities to provide a platform for overall development of the students. We regularly organize seminars, short-term training programs, workshops, industrial visits, guest lectures so that students will become well versed with current technological development.
Vision:
To promote excellence in Telecommunication & Information Technology education and prepare our students to face fast growing challenges of the competitive world.
Mission:
- To provide excellent education by balancing both theoretical and practical aspects of Telecommunication Engineering.
- Department is dedicated to equip students with strong foundation to enable them for continuing education.
- To promote Professional skills, Ethical and Spiritual values resulting in service to the community.
