Welcome to Vivekanand Education Society 

Vivekanand Education Society (VES) runs 26 institutions in the vicinity of Chembur. The Society’s aim is to impart quality education to all including the economically backward classes thereby playing an important role in the progress of our country, vision of Shri Hashu Advaniji, a great social worker.

All institutions are located in Kurla and Chembur, a lush green suburb convenient to travel from any part of Mumbai.· Today, VES has a vibrant community of Native students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Over 18000 students enroll for pre-primaryprimarysecondaryhigher secondary schoolsgraduate and post-graduate colleges, higher educational institutions like engineeringmanagementpharmacylawpolytechnic. VES believes in the overall development of its students and hence has a dedicated leadership academysports academycatering & craft center, and vocational guidance institutes. VES provides, for its out-station students, separate hostel facilities for girls and boys.

VES strictly follows and strongly belives in – No management quota, no capitation fees or donations in any form , it’s pure learning and sharing continuing to work for academic excellence.

VES School for Women established in 1979 helps needy women to earn decent living by providing training to underprivileged women, widows & old in art of tailoring and cutting as to make themselves reliant. The course provides them The Maharashtra state Board of Vocational Examination certificate.

Our methods of learning and teaching are characterized by the conductive application of a variety of different formats. Classroom teaching is important to us – complemented by digital learning, which must be tailored to specific requirements and informed by disciplinary boundary conditions. Both are applied in goal-oriented ways. .

Our methods of instructions are activating and competence-based. Knowledge application serves the purpose to enable learners to reflect and act successfully. We see it as our mission to put to good use the diversity of people, learning venues and areas of knowledge at Freiburg University, thus opening up a plentiful source of learning and teaching.

Teachers provide specific guidance and supervision for each academic stage including specialized studies. Instructional development awards put them in the position to test innovative concepts of learning and teaching in the field.

Secretary's Message

Vivekanand Education Society (VES) – What started in a small room by Shri Hashu Advani ji in 1959 with a purpose to educate the underprivileged students of our society, now stands proud with its 2 campuses. One of which is located at Sindhi Society, Chembur and the other at Collectors Colony, Chembur along with various school campuses in Kurla, Mumbai. Education at VES begins at the foundation level starting with VES Creche, VES Nursery, Pre-Primary & upto Higher Secondary education. Not only do we branch out to VESTTI (VES Tulsi Technical Institute),

VESASC (VES College of Arts, Science & Commerce), VESCOL (VES College of Law) but also extend to professional institutes in the field of Architecture(VESCOA), Pharmacy (VESCOP), Polytechnic (VESPOL), Management Studies & Research (VESMISR) to name a few. Accredited by national bodies like NAAC, NBA, VES currently hosts approximately 25,000 students across all our institutes.

The academic infrastructure at VES is at par with the best institute around the globe. On one hand, our physical infrastructure boasts to be amongst one of the biggest in Mumbai city while on the other hand our teaching systems have been designed by our esteemed & knowledgeable faculty who form the backbone of our institutions.

VES strongly believes in the concept of ‘Nation building through character building & VESLARC – VES Learning Academy & Research Centre proves to be a stepping stone for the process.
