VES – Vivekanand Education Society runs 26 institutions in the vicinity of Chembur. The Society’s aim is to impart quality education to economically backward classes and playing an important role in the progress of our country, vision of ShriHashuAdvaniji, a great social worker. Over 18 thousand students enrolled for Pre-primary, primary, secondary, higher secondary schools, ( Hindi medium & English medium), Degree & post degree colleges, Professional institution like Management campus, Engineering & polytechnic, College of Pharmacy, Law college, Leadeship academy and research centre , Catering craft centre, Vocational guidance, Sports academy with Hostel for girls and hostel for boys and so on…

VES strictly follows and strongly belives in – No management quota, no capitation fees or donations in any form , it’s pure learning and sharing continuing to work for academic excellence. The institution laid emphasis on building the character and personality of students.

VES School for Women established in 1979 helps needy women to earn decent living by providing training to underprivileged women, widows & old in art of tailoring and cutting as to make themselves reliant. The course provides them The Maharashtra state Board of Vocational Examination certificate.

The VES college of Arts, Science & Commerce has been Re – accredited by NAAC with A grade (CGPA 3, 12 ) . Again apart from graduate & under graduate programmes , it provides Women’s Self empowermentprogramme, courses on capital markets and nurturing talents.

VES Technical Institute provides livelihood skills for students from middle and lower income groups. Thus Technical institute with licentiate government recognized vocational courses Electric wiring, motor winding and licentiate television & audio video services. Our college is the only college in Maharashtra which runs 13 courses under one roof & having an intake capacity of 325 students in X1 std. VES Vocational Guidance Bureau guide students in the process of vocational development & taking an effective career decision, provides personal counselling in the areas like depression & sadness, aggressiveness & defiance, Low confidence & low self-esteem, fears, anxieties, difficulty with academics. Also Learning disability remediation, conducting curriculum based analysis for ascertaining the likelihood of L D. VES Leadership Academy & Research centre train students, conduct regular sessions and work with parents, teachers, and non teaching staff for counselling, yogasana and meditation to develop a healthy body & mind.

The prime VES institutions are approved by AICTE & DTE and affiliated to Maharashtra state Board of Technical Education like Institute of Technology, Polytechnic ,College of Pharmacy, College of LAW and Institute of Management Studies & Research

VES Welfare section: Aprox 17950 students got scholarships, sponsorship under this scheme through about 926 donors.

Accommodation is a big constrain for students on Mumbai. VES has hostel for staff, boys and girls students.
