- Media Exhibition: A subject-oriented exhibition where students showcase their creative projects, exploring different facets of media production, storytelling, and digital content creation.
- Raaga: An electrifying intra-collegiate cultural festival celebrating talent across music, dance, drama, art, and literature, fostering a spirit of creativity and collaboration.
- VESCON: An intercollegiate academic fest hosted by the BAMMC Department, featuring events that bridge creativity with curriculum, such as I-Talkies (Short Film Making), War of DJs, Wall of Graffiti, Photography contests, VESMUN, VESCON through your lens, Live Reporting and more. It serves as a platform for students to exhibit their media skills while networking with peers and industry experts.
- Social Awareness Week (SAW): A compassionate initiative aimed at sensitizing students to social issues by providing meaningful services to those in need, nurturing empathy, social responsibility, and community engagement.
- Unmasking Media: A digital workshop offering insightful sessions with industry experts, helping students explore diverse career paths in media. These sessions cover emerging trends, technological advancements, and the future of media.
- Field Visits: First hand exposure to the media industry through visits to renowned institutions like The Times of India, film studios, Whistling Woods International, the National Museum of Indian Cinema, and more. Students gain practical knowledge of media workflows, production techniques, and industry standards.
- Goonj: An in-house publication conceptualized, written, and designed by students, serving as a platform to express their perspectives and creativity. It showcases investigative stories, interviews, features, reviews, and more, allowing students to experience the thrill of publishing.
- Industrial Visits: A three to four days visit is organised by the department to various places in India to understand the practicalities of the industry. The department has been to Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Mapro Gardens, Madhusagar Honey Factory, Cheese Factory & many more.
Additionally, students are encouraged to participate in national and international media competitions, internship programs, and research projects to enhance their industry readiness.
Special Lectures and Workshops: To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the department organizes special lectures, workshops, field visits, and live projects, giving students invaluable industrial insights.
