The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell (EIC) of VESASC comes under the aegis of Vivekanand Education Society`s Hashu Advani Technology Business Incubation Foundation (HABIT Foundation). It has been established to encourage faculty and students to be innovators and entrepreneurs.

Success Stories

  • Tejinder Singh Chopra (TY BFM 2023-24 batch) represented the college and secured the second place at IIT Bombay’s National Entrepreneurship Challenge.His venture Beyond Hospitality is currently being incubated by the HABIT Foundation.

 

  • Indie Jeanous by Dev Patel and Yogeeta Suwasiya – A sustainable fashion venture built around upcycling waste materials into functional products such as bags and accessories, while also creating employment opportunities for local communities. The venture has already demonstrated traction through sales and bulk orders. Indie Jeanous has now formally entered incubation under the HABIT Foundation, with the Letter of Intent signed.

    Enzyvin Biosciences by Neha Kuity & Saurabh Gurram – A biotechnology-focused venture on the production of bacterial enzymes for microplastic degradation, addressing a critical environmental challenge with industrial relevance. The idea has now progressed into formal incubation under the HABIT Foundation.

  1. Team Indie Jeanous by Dev Patel and Yogeeta Suwasiya secured the First Runner-Up position in the “Innovate to Incubate” Startup Challenge and was awarded a cash prize of Rs.15,000.
  2. Team Indie Jeanous by Dev Patel and Yogeeta Suwasiya secured the 1st Runner-Up position at SolveX 2026, a national-level innovation and business model competition.
  3. Team Meta Shot was recognized as the winner at Discovery Row.

Activities
EIC has been organizing NEC X Eureka, the Pitching Competition every year since its inception. Students participate in HABITia, the annual entrepreneurship conclave organized by the HABIT Foundation. Potential Incubatees Meet, conducted in collaboration with the HABIT Incubation Centre, is also held every year.
