As per the gazette of India date 23/03/2021 (COA Eligibility rules 21-22) 1. No Candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject. 2. The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE (Main) Paper II. 3. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act. 4. Nata Entrance Exam: Qualifying in NATA is a mandatory requirement to gain admission into any Institution/University offering a B.Arch. degree program in the country. 5. - Is B.Arch Degree courses offered by VESCOA recognized by University and Council of Architecture?
- VES College of Architecture offers 5 year B.Arch Degree course recognised by Council of Architecture , affiliated to University of Mumbai, Approved by Government of Maharashtra & Directorate of Technical Education .
- What is Eligibility of B.Arch. course?
- Candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.

- VESCOA has an intake capacity of 80 students per batch since 2018 till date.

- Do VESCOA have Management Quota / Institute Seat?
- VESCOA strictly follow the norms of NO CAPITATION FEES as per VES Norms. We do not have Management Quota/ Institute level seats as all the 80 seats are surrendered (As pre VES Trust Norms) for Government admission and all admission are done through CAP round conducted by statutory Bodies.
- What is the procedure of VESCOA for Against Vacancy Seat after CAP round (if any vacancy seat arises)?
- VESCOA follows the SCET norms laid down for against vacancy seat in Information brochure published on SCET Cell Website.
- What is cut off percentage of VESCOA of Academic year 2019-20?
- 70 was cut off percentage of last year (Academic year 2020-21). But the cut off is not ascertain.
- Is there any reservation quota for Sindhi Minority?
- VESCOA is Sindhi Minority Institute as per the Government of Maharashtra norms, 51% seats are reserved for Sindhi Minority quota & 49% for Maharashtra state and All India seats will be filled up through Cap Round conducted by Government of Maharashtra State CET Cell.
- Whether Allotments of seats to Architectural institutions is done through NATA OR JEE?
- As per the Government of Maharashtra Norms admission to institutions are done by the SCET Cell. Highest marks in Either of Aptitude Test in considered for admission.
- What is the weightage to be given to marks obtained in NATA/JEE(Paper 2) and the qualifying examinations?
- As per the SCET CELL and Council of Architecture norms, the weightage is 50% marks obtained in NATA/ JEE (Paper 2) and 50% to marks obtained in qualifying examination will be considered for admission.
- What is the Infrastructure of VESCOA?
- College has well equipped infrastructure and Classroom facilities for overall development of the students.
- LABS – Carpentry Workshop, Surveying and Levelling Lab, Environmental Lab, Model Making, Services Lab, Material Museum with well equipped with all advance instruments for Hand On experience to the students. Laser cutting machine, Electrical Pottery Wheel, Jigsaw , Wood working Lathe Machine, Wood Sander Machine.
- STUDIO – Fully furnished Studio with 40 drafting tables, Stools, Lockers facilities, Soft board, Wifi connection and Audio Video system
- CLASSROOMS- With Audio Video system
- LIBRARY – well equipped digital library with more than 500 Books and National & International Journals.
- COMPUTER LAB – fully furnished Computer lab of high-end configuration for graphics use with professional licensed software is such as CorelDraw, Photoshop, ketchup Envi-met, AUTOCAD, Adobe etc with latest 40 Computers, Wi-Fi facilities / Audio Video System.
- BOARDROOM –fully furnished with 25-person Capacity for discussion & Meeting.
- CONSTRUCTION YARD- We have construction yard of 200 sq.m. for hand on Workshop & Model Display.

- We shall be working on in-work studio method where students shall complete their work and assignments in college. Students are encouraged to use late hours of College facilities with prior permission from the Principal.

- What is Fees structure of B.Arch Degree course.?
- The fees structure of VESCOA is approved by Fees Regulating Authority for the academic year 2020-21. (Copy of Fees structure attached in Title Fees on VESCOA website with complete particulars)
- Do VESCOA provide loan facilities for the students?
- We have tie up State Bank of India for Education loan facility for VESCOA B.Arch course.( Loan sanction will be as per the rules and norms of SBI.)
- Is there any facilities for Fees instalments?
- Only after providing relevant documents of Job status of parents and approval from Principal. Incase of any query regarding the fees instalments can personally contact the Principal.
- Do VESCOA provide scholarships?
- YES, VESCOA provide Scholarship as mentioned below
- MAHADBT Scholarship- as per the rules of Government of Maharashtra.
- Suman Tulsiani Scholarship – This scholarship provided to students depending on their merit during the preceding year whose family income is below Rs. 300000/-For needy & meritorious students.

- We have VES Hostel located in the HAMC, Chembur, Mumbai campus (Same campus) . The accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. It is provided on first-come-first -serve basis to students of VESCOA (Limited seats available) and for students outside Mumbai.
- How frequently do VESCOA arrange session of Guest lecture for Students.
- VESCOA organizes 10 sessions per academic Semester in form of Seminars, Workshop, Guest Lecture, Demonstration and Hand on workshop etc. for the students by Experts, Eminent academician and practising Architects.

- VESCOA in collaboration with ICHH (Humane Habitat) conducts an International Conference with Eminent National & International Speakers.
